This book is based on the idea that you can use the same process for any kind of writing. Short stories, essays, reports—they all look very different, and they’re doing different jobs, but you can go about them all in the same way using these same six steps: Getting ideas, Choosing, Outlining, Drafting, Revising, Editing.
